Waiting is uncomfortable. No one really likes waiting.
We are all waiting for something. Some things are more imminent than others.
Maybe you are waiting for Christmas.
Waiting for test results.
Waiting to find out about a job.
Waiting for your marriage to turn around.
Waiting for an adult child to call.
Waiting for the adoption agency to process your paperwork.

While I am waiting I will read scripture that reminds me that my God is so very capable. He has an eternal timetable that is perfect.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
I will pray. Prayer is about God shaping my will, not the other way around. He knows your heart cry, and he wants to bless you. But we must remember that the sovereignty of God does not take away from his will. Sometimes we are waiting for an answer that we have already been given. God's will is not refundable.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11
What are you waiting for this morning? Lay it at the cross. Thank Him for answered prayers. Know that you are on a path to glory that is being made perfect in its time.
